Design a logo to promote children's rights
A nation-wide competition is underway giving children and young people the chance create a logo to mark the 20th anniversary of the UK agreeing to follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The winning logo will be used for a year, beginning in November, to celebrate the anniversary and to help a group of charities carry on working to promote and protect the rights of children and young people in England. We hope you'll encourage your child to have a go at creating the winning logo.
The competition winner will not only have his or design turned into a professional logo by a design agency, but will also win a £100 gift voucher and the chance for them and their family to spend some time with Maggie Atkinson, the Children's Commissioner for England.
The winning logo will be send to the Government, local councils and other organisations working with children and young people.

The closing date for entry is Sunday 23 October 2011 at 8pm.
